POWELL FAMILY REUNION

Saturday, September 23, 2000 at Indian Fort Theater, East of Berea, Kentucky. Pot Luck Dinner at Noon.  Bring family pictures for others to see.

"It was good to spend some time with a lot of you last summer at the Powell Reunion.  I was very pleased that we had 117 in attendance.   I was too busy to spend as much time as I would have liked getting to know each person that was there.  Hope many more of you will be able to attend this year.

We have arranged for more chairs and tables this year. We can get them from Berea College.   They don't charge for the use of the chairs and tables if we transport them ourselves.  If there is someone in the area that will donate a pick-up or truck on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22 and 23 we can take care of this job without too much trouble.

There is plenty of room at the Indian Fort Theater for dining tables.  There is also a room where pictures can be put on display for others to see.  We can put posters on the walls of the pavilion.  Of course there is plenty of room for parking and room for where pictures can be put on display for others to see.  We can put posters on the walls of the pavilion.  Of course there is plenty of room for parking and room for children to play.  There is a hiking trail about 1-1/2 miles long up to the top of Indian Fort Mountain.  From the top you can see Richmond and Berea on a clear day.

If you have questions, I would be glad to hear from you.  If you have email, I would like to have your address so I can send a reminder about the reunion.     maudean@sover.net

If you descend from any of the people listed on "The Story" webpage, you are welcome to join us.  If you don't know how you fit into the family, come and check our charts and we will see if we can find you place in the family.

Sincerely,

Maudean Neill, and all interested Powells"
